Volunteer

The Stoney Creek School of Art offers volunteer, co-op and mentorship opportunities to high school, college and university students interested in gaining work experience with children in a classroom setting.

We believe it is important for students to volunteer and become strong members of the community. By volunteering at the Stoney Creek School of Art students gain confidence in their abilities, sensitivity to children’s individualized needs, along with employable skills and work experience.

Volunteers are required to hand in a Police Check in order to work with our students. As a result of the variety of children and needs, it is preferred to be a “Vulnerable Sector Screening” Police Check.  A training session will be given prior to volunteering.
