Programming has been developed to suit the fluctuating fine motor skill and cognitive levels of children and youth ages 4½ to 16. Guidance and demonstration is focused on skill and creative advancement of the individual and each students comfort level. All materials & in-class tools are included in the program fee.
Please Note: NUT FREE SCHOOL- please respect the safety of others - wash hands before coming to school and never bring nut or “may contain nut” products for snacks or lunches.

Drawing & Painting 1
Ages 7-10
If you love to draw, this exploration of media & techniques will answer your questions and advance creative thinking. Project focus is on drawing and painting objects, animals, landscapes, people and some cartooning. All the details you need to know!

Ages 9 & Up
Instructor: Lisa Tziatis
Learn about world cultures and art history as you create unique and inspiring culturally based projects.
Find out about different countries, their unique development of traditional and stylistic art. Get inspired by the
colours and textures, images and landscapes of distant lands. Explore and create with projects like Maskmaking,
costume designs, sculpted clay works, endangered animals drawing, distinct landscapes of various
countries and creative crafting. Visit the images of 5 countries over 10 weeks and find out how you can expand
your creative thinking and art-making!
This fall 2008 celebrate these countries: Japan, Egypt, Italy, Australia, Mexico
This winter 2009 celebrate these countries: Spain, Greece, Morocco, Indonesia, Brazil
This spring 2009 celebrate these countries: China, Scotland, France, Africa, Russia
Cartoony World
Ages 7-14
It’s time for fun with animated sketching, sculpting and painting projects that explore a full range of cartoon styles like Japanese Anime, Disney, T.V. Celebs, Marvel comics and your own designs! Lots of creative thinking.
Creative Arts & Crafts
For ages 8-12.
This is an exciting exploration and advancement of ideas using a wide range of materials and techniques. Clay sculpting, sketching, painting and crafting is explored in a variety of styles. This is a great chance for older students to get hands on creative time. Unique projects change every session.
Crafty Kids World
Ages 5-8.
This is a great beginner program to introduce your child to fine art techniques with the fun of art & craft projects. This is a balanced program made to explore creativity with drawing skills weekly and a 2nd project in painting, sculpting, cartooning, crafts. Projects change every term- a very good foundation for elementary school success!
Sculpting Explorations
Ages 7-14
Create, explore & imagine the possibilities of 3-D art. Pottery, clay, plaster bandage, Plasticine, wood & wire and crafty supplies will be used to learn the fundamentals of sculpting. Pots, figurines, masks, relief wall plaques and more…
